प्रेजेंट कंटीन्युअस टेंस (Present Continuous Tense)

जब वक्ता (speaker) इस टेंस में बात करता है तो वह ऐसी स्थिति जो वर्तमान काल में लगातार कुछ समय के लिए बनी हुई है के बारे में बात करता है l

या फिर किसी एक्शन के बारे में जो वर्तमान काल में कुछ समय के लिए जारी हो या चल रहा होl

इस टेंस में हिंदी के वाक्य 'रहा है, रही है, रहे हैं' पर समाप्त  होते हैंl

वाक्य बनने के लिए हम is/am/are + v-1+ing का प्रयोग करते हैं

a.     We use is ‘is + first form of the verb with ing’ when the subjects are: he (, she, it and third person singular nouns.

b.    am+ first form of the verb with ing’ with ‘I’ only.

c.     Are + first form of the verb with ing’ with: you, we, they and third person plural nouns..

1.    खानाबदोश लोग काम की तलाश में इधर उधर घूम रहे हैं १ 

The vagabonds are wandering about here and there in search of work.

2.    तुम मोहन का पक्ष ले रहे हो १

You are favouring Mohan.

3.    पक्षी अपने घोंसले बना रहे हैं १

Birds are making their nests.

4.    बकरियां चारागाह में चर रहीं हैं १

The goats are grazing in the pastures.

5.    भेड़िये भेड़ों का शिकार कर रहे हैं १

The wolves are hunting for the sheeps.

6.    अध्यापक विद्यार्थियों को पढ़ा रहे हैं १

The teachers are teaching the students.

7.    कुछ लोग बस अड्डे पर बस के आने की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं १

Some people are waiting for the arrival of the bus at the bus stand.

8.    मधुमक्खियां अपने छत्ते बना रहीं हैं १

The bees are making their hives.

9.    चीटियाँ एक पंक्ति में चल रहीं हैं

The ants are moving in a line.

10.                 सड़क पर वाहन बहुत तेज़ गति से चल रहे हैं १

The vehicles are moving on the road at a very fast speed.

11.                  बच्चे समूह गान गा रहे हैं l

Children are singing in chorus.

12.                 तोते फल खा रहे हैं l

The parrots are eating fruit.

13.                 पुलिस चोरों की तलाश कर रही है l

The police is searching for the thieves.

14.                 अध्यापक विद्यार्थियों को दण्डित नहीं कर रहे हैं l

The teachers are not punishing the students.

15.                 शेर चिड़ियाघर में दहाड़ रहे हैं l

The lions are roaring in the zoo.

Sohan is not telephoning his brother.

5.    महेश अपने कमरे में झाड़ू नहीं लगा रहा है १

Mahesh is not seeping his room.

6.    अजय बच्चों को डांट नहीं रहा है १

Ajay is not scolding his children.

7.    औरतें गली में एकत्रित नहीं हो रही हैं l

Women are not assembling in the street.

8.    अमित अपने पिताजी की सलाह नहीं ले रहा है १

Amit is not consulting his father.

9.    वह सेबों को गिन नहीं रहा है १

He is not counting apples.

10.                       दर्जी कपड़ों को सील नहीं रहा है १

The tailor is not stitching the clothes.

11.                       लड़कियां स्वेटर नहीं बन रही है१

The girls are not knitting sweaters.

12.                       रोहित का पिता उसे पीट नहीं रहा है १

Rohit’s father is not beating him.

13.                       दिल्ली में आज वर्षा नहीं हो रही है १

It is not raining in Delhi today.

14.                       रेनू अपनी माँ की रसोई में मदद नहीं कर रही है १

Renu is not helping her mother in kitchen.

15.                       वह अपनी परीक्षा की तैयारी नहीं कर रहा है१

He is not preparing for the examination.
